Part of the Ohio Child Welfare Training Program, the NCORTC is committed to providing high quality culturally-responsive, family-centered, job-related training for child welfare staff and foster parents in Cuyahoga County.

In cooperation with the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services (ODJFS), the Public Children Services Association of Ohio (PCSAO), and the Ohio's University Consortium for Child and Adult Services (OUCCAS), the staff of NCORTC has provided competency-based training since 1986.
