Note: The orientation outline for new employees was developed based on PCSAO’s Standards for Effective Practice: Staff Orientation and Training as well as feedback from counties across the state. Use the outline to develop an orientation roadmap for new employees. Ideally, the content and activities should be distributed across several weeks. Carefully, review the checklist below and determine which sections you want your new employee to complete and in what order.
